Stepping it up for a B!?!?!

Ah yes.  I've reached the point in my teaching program where you really need a brain to continue.  At this point you should have passed your Praxis Exam.   Gotten your fingerprint card.   Passed all your classes thus far.  So of COURSE the Elementary Education Seminar class should require a B or higher to continue with the program.  Why not?   Do we want mediocre teachers in the classrooms?

And once again, in my learning team, I encounter MORONS.   One ADMITS that this is her second time taking this seminar because she couldn't pass the first time.   The class is fairly straight forward and not half as difficult as my last two classes.  Yet she is hoping to get a B.   Another gal says she will have to "step it up" in order to get a B and pass.  What happened to striving for an A and settling for a B after working your ass off?   Does this mean she is okay with C's in the rest of her classes?   Why are these people in school?   I just don't get it.  Do they think the school will just hand them a degree for showing up and posting some nonsense?

One can only hope these two ladies start living in reality.   I can only hope they do since they are on my learning team.  And we wonder why the country's education is seriously at risk?  Read my posts and wonder no more.
